Chicken thighs: I love crispy chicken thighs. If you do too, make sure you cook them on the skin side first over medium high heat to ensure you get that golden crust that will still be crispy even after being drowned in this delicious ranch sauce. You can also rub the skin with a little bit of cornstarch too for that extra crispiness.
Bacon: I prefer thick-cut Applewood bacon. I love its sweet flavor and crunchiness. I cooked the bacon in a skillet while the chicken was in the oven, but you can also use ready-to-eat bacon pieces.
